Hair Helppppp????

So. Yeah. Working on semi-realism here, and I CAN'T seem to figure out how to paint hair. I've kinda searched tutorials on here, but I need a tutorial for a full head of realistic/semi-realistic (ie not anime hair or hair done with the dodge tool) hair, and I can't seem to find one. Any help?
